This as an early pic of a painting I've started a couple of years ago. Covid happened and the world looked confused, I worked on the online store etc and my paintbrush was ignored. I worked out all the composition, there are a lot more figures to come. The subject is Love, and people in different stages of it. I think I got tired of the quietness of it but now I am revived. I've added a layer to the front with a bright spread of colours and other bigger objects . It was what was needed, a kick up the arse so to speak, now I can look forward to mixing colours and involving myself in it. I usually know if I've turned a corner, the right corner when I'm quietly peering around doorways looking at it, kind of surprising myself after being brave enough to take that colour risk. I have a focus, next years Biennial. Hoo Nose.
